Rig Inspections

Lister Marine provides comprehensive rigging inspections on all masts to and to all vessels. We inspect all running and standing rigging. All swages and/or mechanical fittings will be visually inspected. Antenna, wind instruments, lights, mast head, halyard sheaves & pins, furler or bent headsail foils, and all gooseneck fittings. All electrical wiring is inspected for chafe/corrosion. We will inspect spreader roots and attachments.

We also check all light fittings, cars, clutches, blocks, tracks, winches and any other hardware. On the base we will check chainplates, mast steps, compression posts and collars.

Rig Tuning

We will check to see if your mast is in column with the vessel (straight from the aft), has proper pre-bend (how much bend is above the spreaders, for and aft) and rake (how much tilt there is off the deck). We will then properly tension all of your shrouds and stays.

 

Standing Rigging & Mechanical Fittings

Can do anything from replacing your whole rig to installing one section of standing wire. Whatever a well fitted mast or boom requires including all shrouds, stays, uppers, lowers etc.

 

Running Rigging and Splicing

We carry an extensive inventory of line aboard and we can order any cordage/line you need.  We have fast shipping with our fright services.

 

Custom Deck Configuration

Do you want to safely control your halyards, reef lines, furling lines and sheets from the cockpit? Lister Marine can map out and install your custom configuration of blocks, cars, deck organizers, rope clutches, winches and other hardware to efficiently run your lines to the cockpit and keep you off of your decks in dangerous situations.

 

Winch Servicing

Winches should be services every six to eight months. Most people never service there winches which can lead to failure of the pawls and springs, and excess ware and friction on gears and bearings. We can clean and polish your winches and their inner workings so they work like new.

 

Sails Through Our Partners

Need new sails or existing repair? We can take your sails off and ship them to a sail loft. Or if you need new sails we can get you a quote from top sail lofts.
